The Revitalization Chicago Community News



New generation journalists is leading the charge to revitalize local media coverage and to reduce the threat to democracy. Our goal is to obtain unprecedented resources to strengthen proven solutions, and eliminate long-standing injustices in the coverage of journalism and its practice.

Recent graduates and students recently launched their new Austin Harvest produce market at its permanent location earlier this week, bringing art and community to an area previously known for its gun violence. WBEZ's Jackie Kostek visited to speak to its founders who describe their purpose as more than offering food, but also creating an environment that is more welcoming as one of their goals.
